8 Feet There

Jaq, Dan and Mike have been busy with another music project - Channel 7’s Battle of the Choirs. Dan and I sang with the Blenders, Jaq sang with Tongues of Fire. So you can imagine there was plenty of sledging and general competition barbs going on between the 3 of us (all in good spirits you understand). We were all staying in Sydney at the same time so had plenty of time to talk about music, singing, and 8feetthere.

The something happened in Sydney that changed everything… The Blenders have a young tenor (Lachlan) who was being chaperoned by his Mum Lisa. As Lachlan is fairly new to the Blenders, we hadn’t really met his mum before, but she approached Jaq after hearing we were looking for a new Sop. We sent Lisa some music of 4 of our songs and asked her to choose 2 and come for an audition. When she auditioned and had learned all 4, I knew this was a good sign immediately!

Anyway Lisa absolultely blitzed it and we are thrilled she has joined our lineup. Now we can get back into it! Check out Lisa’s profile
